Bridal Photographs in Northwest Arkansas: Editorial Photos in My Garden!

Bridal Photographs in Northwest Arkansas

Morning! Ready for a bridal photography blog post full of velvet curtains, a vintage aesthetic wedding dress, and all the crazy light? You know I’ve got you! This gorgeous session with Ryanne was photographed in my little side yard garden and the photos just, like, give me all the butterflies. So! Grab your coffee and get ready: I’m sharing some ridiculously pretty bridal photographs in Northwest Arkansas.

Fun + Dreamy Bridal Photographs in Fayetteville

Got that coffee? Perfect!

My favorite thing about bridal photographs – whether they’re an editorial shoot or a bridal session for one of my brides – is that there are so many options. While I wouldn’t really recommend standing in a garden in your wedding dress before your wedding (unless you’re down to stand on a plastic tarp!), I love that bridals can bring out so much personality and fun at each and every shoot. They’re like a fusion of fashion + wedding photos and I adore ’em.

For these bridal photographs in Northwest Arkansas? I wanted to go luxe! With the velvet curtains, the over the top garden, the tiered Opal and June dress, the cute tulle cape, and all the light, I still can’t believe these were photographed in my yard. We shot these early on a weekday morning on the windiest day – so windy the curtains kept falling over! – and I think I spent half the shoot securing the curtains (lol) but literally cannot believe that this light + these plants are just outside my window every morning. Like, did I just grow a jungle to shoot in? YES! So excited to share these with you!

Dress: Opal and June // Curtains: Green Velvet from Amazon // Flowers: My Yard!

P.S. Shoutout to my wonderful friend Diana of Joy and Light for coming to hang with us during the shoot! She is the best and it was so fun shooting with her! Can’t imagine any other wedding photographer (and model! Ryanne is wonderful!) that I’d love to brave the windiest spring morning with.
