Fall Family Photographs in Fayetteville Arkansas
Today has been such a blissful spring day! I slept in, met my friends Steph Smith and Kristen Herrington for toast at Arsaga’s + hammocks + Mamaka Bowls (does it get more Fayetteville than this?) and, after that, I came home and we planted two garden beds in our backyard and ate dinner outside, too! Henry was the funniest with the garden beds – I made one in the back of the yard for wildflower seeds and tried to explain to him how close the seeds needed to be and how we should think about grouping the flowers as we planted them but then I looked over my shoulder and he was totally doing this:
I love flowers and was really excited about my wildflower plans but who am I to stop such joy? He was so excited you could feel it exploding from his fingers and we are so pumped to see how our little wildflower patch grows this summer! Crossing my fingers that it’ll be beautiful! And if not? It sure was fun planting!
But enough about the start of spring! Let’s throw it back to the very end of fall last year when I got to photograph Brittney and Vinny’s family photographs! These two are in such a fun stage of life – having two super young and super energetic boys is one of the best experiences in the universe – and I had so much fun photographing them last fall! And shoutout to Kristen for coming with me to this shoot – I was in the first trimester and insanely sick so she came with in case I needed for her to cover for me! I ended up being able to finish the session without a hitch (hooray!) but I so loved having her there and so love these fun family photographs of Brittney, Vinny, their adorable boys, and the most amazing fall light.
