Opal and June: A Styled Shoot Shop for Photographers
I have the BEST announcement today!
My bestie Lauren and I have been working for months on the most incredible styled shoot shop – Opal and June! – for photographers, wedding professionals, and anyone who wants to rent a gorgeous party outfit or formal gown for a photo session! Lauren and I have been friends for years and, over those years, we have shot dozens of styled shoots together (these are all favorites) and both of us love creating a photo shoot from scratch with the wisp of an idea and a whole lot of brainstorming and planning.
Right now, we are working behind the scenes on our website, getting things going with our website, and are taking dress rental orders via our Instagram. We have SO much to share with you and I’m just bursting at the seams to show y’all all of our fun ideas and products. Our shop is going to be a mix of dresses, photoshoot props (think candlesticks, vases, even ceremony backdrops!), and features and I’m just giddy with excitement every time I think about this project that we have coming everyone’s way.

Lissa Chandler is an Arkansas wedding photographer based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Lissa has two crazy pups, an eight year old who asked “Are you ever so excited that you’re just trying not to dance?!” twenty minutes ago while dancing around after finishing the Chamber of Secrets, a five year old whose favorite restaurant is McDonalds, and a husband who is currently listening to Bob’s Burgers songs while sitting next to her. Lissa is the owner and lead photographer of Lissa Chandler Photography and, along with associates Kristen, Jamie, and Michaela, photographs happy weddings all over Arkansas and the United States. Lissa is also the co-founder and owner of Opal and June, a styled shoot rental shop.
Since opening her business in 2011, Lissa has mentored countless photographers, taught at nationwide conferences, and has been featured – and interviewed! – in lots of blogs, photography workshops, and photo-related publications. Additionally, Lissa has had work published in both local and nationwide magazines including Click, Arkansas Bride, and People. Don’t be afraid to go for it, y’all!
