Y’all!! My name is Lissa Chandler and I officially suck at blogging.
Ah! I used to be the best at blogging ever – I started blogging when I was sixteen years old! – and I’m hoping to get back up on that horse, like, yesterday but this summer has been CRAZY! In the past eleven weeks, we’ve photographed ten heart-stopping Arkansas weddings, held two huge styled shoots for all of LCP, added a third associate wedding photographer to LCP (hello, Michaela!!) and have photographed sessions in five different states while prepping for several out of state weddings in the next two months. On top of this, I’ve been writing two different ebooks for photographers, have laid the groundwork for a new educational workshop and, most excitedly I’m opening a brand spanking new business with my best friend Lauren. I’ll post more about that later – we’re opening a rad styled shoot rental shop called Opal and June! (Instagram here!!) – but the past few months have been some of the most exciting months of my life and I am so beyond thrilled to share so much with y’all. It’s going to be amazing and basically a huge celebration of photography and love and learning and everything fan-freaking-tastic. AH!!
And today? Let’s roll back to a rainy day in April to celebrate Elly and Matt! These two are so much fun, so authentic and just so crazy in love. Any wedding with glow sticks and sparklers and the happiest bride and a live band is a winner and Elly and Matt’s wedding had it all! I’m so thrilled for these lovebirds and so excited to share a glimpse of their wedding day with y’all! Congratulations, you two! You’re the best!
