Is blogger’s writing block a thing? Because, if it is, I have it!
Lately, I’ll sit down to write a post, stare at my screen for ten minutes, don’t know what to say, and then just walk (or edit!) away. I have at least fifteen blog posts prepped and ready to go and I haven’t posted any of them because I can’t think of what to write without sounding repetitive! Hahaha. The struggle is real y’all – I have something like 752 blog posts on this website!
Let’s fix that today!! Maddy is so freaking cute and her photographs from May are so fun!!
It’s funny writing this now because we’re in the smack middle of summer but, in early May, it felt like summer took forever to get here (some of the trees didn’t even have leaves yet!). Maddy’s photographs were taken on one of the first really nice afternoons and the amazing weather definitely made the photographs even more fun! Also, Maddy and I totally stopped shooting at one point and chatted about life for, like, twenty minutes. This girl is so rad and her session was such a blast! Love her!
Our first stop was Burton’s Ice Cream! They have the cutest outdoor space, y’all!!
After taking the fun urban photographs above, we headed to Lake Fayetteville!
Lake Fayetteville was peppered with so many people enjoying the sunshine! We took these pretty early in the afternoon – probably around 3:00pm! – and it was so fun seeing Fayetteville out in full force! Seriously had so much fun with Maddy which was no surprise at all! Maddy and Alyssa have known each other for years and both of them are total gems! Thanks for such a fun shoot, Maddy! You are awesome.
