I hope y’all are ready to see a fantastic wedding because today is the day! Lacey and Tyler’s wedding is taking over the blog and it is GORGEOUS! Let’s get started!!
Lacey and Tyler were married at The Barn at the Springs in Northwest Arkansas on May 21st, 2016 and everything about their day was perfect. The skies were blue and the flowers were breathtaking and Lacey made an insanely beautiful bride. And their details?! They were killer!
Lacey had the sweetest handkerchiefs made for her mother, father, sister, and mother-in-law. The one pictured below was for her sister, Casey. I have never seen a sister help with a wedding as much as Casey helped with Lacey’s – she even came to Lacey and Tyler’s engagement session – and, on the wedding day, she’d be laughing with Lacey one minute and the next, she’d be arranging centerpieces and ferns and Lacey and Tyler’s guestbook table and, the minute after that, she’d be helping Lacey put on her dress. This girl was a rockstar and it was so fun seeing Lacey and Casey’s bond – and even more fun to see their bond with their mom. They are awesome!
This was my first time shooting at The Barn at the Springs and, you guys, their outdoor ceremony location is beyond impressive. The May light was perfect and their wedding was the sweetest.
After the ceremony, we went straight into family portraits.
Lacey and Tyler have the nicest family and it was so fun photographing them together. And also fun? Their bridal party! If you’ve been reading this blog for long, you’ll see a familiar face in there! Christine – who married Dave at Mt. Sequoyah last June – was one of Lacey’s bridesmaids and it was so fun to see her (and Dave!) at Lacey and Tyler’s wedding. My brides are the best people ever and I love when I get to see them long after their wedding day! Christine was no exception! Love her!
Here’s the part where I fangirl over Lacey and Tyler!
Lacey and Tyler met on a blind date and they are literally one of the most good natured couples I have ever met. These two laugh and joke with each other so much and they are a total joy to be around whether you’ve just met them or known them for, like, ever. They’re the real thing, folks! I loved being their wedding photographer and LOVE how their wedding portraits turned out. That golden hour light + Lacey’s eyes + their chemistry? Perfection!
Lacey’s dad made the food for their wedding reception and it was some of the best wedding food I’ve had in my entire life (that’s a big deal, y’all! I’m always eating at weddings!). He also gave the most delightful toast during the wedding reception and, afterwards, the night turned into the best party. Lacey and Tyler’s guests had so much fun dancing and laughing and, basically, their wedding was a dream. Thanks for having me as your wedding photographer, y’all! I loved every second!
