Kelsey and Adam were married at Cooper Chapel on April 18th.
I love Kelsey! She is a total firecracker (apparently, firecrackers attract firecrackers because nearly all my brides are firecrackers) and, because of crazy schedules and the fact that she wanted to take her bridal portraits in the woods, we decided to photograph Kelsey’s bridal session after her wedding. And honestly? I’m so glad we did so! After initially being rained out in May, we were able to photograph Kelsey’s bridals on the most beautiful June day and everything about her bridal session was perfect. There wasn’t even mud! I love these photographs and I am so excited to share them with y’all today – so much so that I am writing this with, like, the worst summer cold of my life (side note: if this post sounds loopy – or more loopy than usual – please blame the DayQuil and the fact that I was up until three am last night after binge watching American Horror Story while on NyQuil which, consequently, was not the best idea of my life).
We photographed Kelsey’s bridal session at Walker Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas and, really, it could not have been a more wonderful evening. I had so much fun catching up with Kelsey (and Adam!) and hearing about their first few weeks as a married couple and their upcoming trip to Iceland. It was so much fun to see them and I had a blast taking these! Also, a huge thumbs up to Adam for tagging along and listening to us boss him around with bags and fake candles and bundles of flowers and not complaining when we talked about photographing seniors the whole time. He was such a gem and Kelsey was so easy to photograph and both of them are both so funny and, really, I could not love Kelsey’s bridals (or their wedding photographs!) more.
Here is Kelsey, y’all! She is gorgeous!
