Kelsey and Adam made my job incredibly easy.
Maybe it’s because Kelsey is a photographer herself and she’s already taught Adam the drill, but these two were a piece of cake to photograph. They were so full of joy and just so excited to be there and I loved their session with my whole heart. There’s nothing I love more than a crazy-in-love couple and these two totally fit the bill!
And better yet? Neither Kelsey or Adam blinked when I said, “I know this great spot in the woods behind my apartment complex”. Maybe I’ve been watching too much Criminal Minds lately (confession: I have been watching WAY too much Criminal Minds lately and may have stayed up all night two nights ago until I convinced Andrew that I did, in fact, need to keep the lamp on while we were sleeping), but when a couple totally trusts me about obscure locations, I’m basically on cloud nine. This location was the very first location I used when I shot my very first Arkansas shoot back in the summer of 2011 and, somehow, I haven’t used it since. But! When I read Kelsey and Adam’s questionnaire, I knew I needed to head back to this spot – and I am so glad I did!
Kelsey and Adam are amaaaaaazing and I am so excited for their spring wedding! I mean, can it just be April already?
