Vintage Aesthetic Bride and Groom Portraits
Hey y’all! I’m absolutely thrilled to share these lovely vintage aesthetic bride and groom portraits with you!
I’ve had this blue Opal and June dress for ages and, this past spring, I was finally able to show her off by creating these colorful images! Shot in the brightest minimalist studio setup in Draper, Utah, I loved taking a stark white background, creating traditional editorial wedding photographs with fun wedding clothes, and incorporating some incredibly fun light + light leaks.
This bridal editorial was a total blast and I’m so excited to share it with you!
Minimalist Studio Photographs with Unique Light
For this vintage aesthetic bride and groom shoot in Draper, I wanted to create something really colorful and slightly kitschy while also embracing a really clean, minimalist style. To do this, I found the cutest white studio space in Draper, used a lot of bright window light, and then added color everywhere else. A pink blazer, a blue floral wedding dress, the bounciest bouquet, and a couple of prisms made this cute little creative dream a reality and I’m so happy with how the photographs turned out! They’re such a fun mix of minimalist + maximalist!
I love the way the classic bride and groom portraits in this gallery blend in with the really extra light leaks. By having strong window light in these, I just love that we were able to create some really fresh and creative images with fun light patterns and the cutest wedding outfits! Hope y’all love rainbows because you’re about to see a bunch! The light in these is just an absolute party!
