Colorful Bridal Photography in Northwest Arkansas
Yesterday morning, I photographed the most stunning bridal editorial in my yard with Ryanne and my friend Diana of Joy and Light Photography and, when shooting, realized I’d never blogged these product photos! This Opal and June shoot was my very first time working with Gabbie (I absolutely love her!) and also my very first time shooting in my garden. I was absolutely floored with the morning light in my own backyard and, since then, have made it a goal to shoot in my yard as much as possible! It’s been such a blast and amazing to garden with shoots in mind.
Why I’m Never Getting Over Color in Wedding Photography
As a colorful wedding photographer, I absolutely love all the gowns but big and colorful wedding dresses will always have a bit of a special place in my heart. There’s only so many times in your life where you can be 10000% extra without anyone batting an eye. And at your wedding? Their eyes won’t just not bat – they’ll be like massive saucers screaming “hooray!” as soon as a bride steps into the aisle in a nontraditional wedding dress. It’s been so fun to see wedding trends evolve over time and I am here for all the fun gowns! And also here for the sleek + simple gowns, too!
