Editorial Photographs in an Arcade: A Summer Shoot with Audrey!
Y’all! I cannot believe I have never blogged these 70s inspired editorial photographs in an arcade!
While I’m definitely calling 2019 to 2023 my lost online sharing years (lol), I can’t believe this one slipped through the cracks! Audrey is absolutely lovely – she’s a total gem! – and the light in these is so, so good. Y’all know I love a creative editorial and I freaking love shooting in fun locations like Fast Lanes! While we shot these, my kids ran around with my mother-in-law (she’s always the best!), the Fast Lane employees suggested some awesome locations (like letting us in one of the machines!), and this entire shoot was a total blast from start to finish. I mean, those flower photos?! Obsessed!!
I haven’t shot an editorial shoot in ages and, looking at these, I think I need to do one again! Loved photographing Audrey, loved the vibe in these colorful + creative images and LOVE this location idea for a senior portrait session. It’s funny, when you start photography, weird light seems scary. Years in, though? It’s the most incredible thing! I love weird + creative light and love that Audrey was so up to shoot these with me! I adore ’em!
