Are y’all ready for the most gorgeous summer wedding at Big Cedar Lodge?
Wonderful! It’s a cozy December morning, I’ve got my coffee in one hand and 90s dad rock playing on a speaker and, when I popped up to my office to pack my bag for a winter wedding at the Apollo on Emma (so excited!) later today, I saw I had some extra time! And with that time? We are celebrating Madison and Tanner! Last weekend, I photographed these two with their new baby + whole extended family (Madison and her sister Sydney are THE BEST!) and, while driving home that night, realized I’d never blogged Madison and Tanner’s wedding!
And with how gorgeous their summer wedding at Big Cedar Lodge was in 2022? That’s basically a crime.
I mean… these two!! So freaking gorgeous!
The Most Gorgeous August Wedding Day
Honestly, I don’t even really have words for these two and their summer wedding at Big Cedar Lodge. Madison and Tanner are the sweetest high school sweetheart couple with the most amazing families and their day was just so full of love that it felt like a total cheer-filled party from start to finish. Madison wore the most incredible gown with a heart-stopping veil and the most gorgeous pearl earrings, the bridesmaids wore the cutest pajamas, the girls had the best champagne toast, the dance floor was a party, and Tanner beamed the whole entire day.
And my husband Andrew? He took the BEST ceremony photographs ever at this wedding. Andrew is my fave for so many reasons but, at weddings, I’ll never get over the way he takes care of literally everyone (carrying drinks + throwing veils + keeping me updated on timelines + literally everything) and then takes the most incredible emotion-driven photographs during a wedding ceremony. Like, even just the way he uses the light. I love Madison and Tanner’s ceremony photographs so much!!
