Honestly, I think no! Summer can get a bad rap here – it’s hot and a little sticky and August is pretty killer – but y’all! THE GREENS! It’s so beautiful and lush here and just so perfect for super happy engagement photographs. And Makayla + Matt’s engagements? They are the happiest!

Matt and Makayla tied the knot last week and let me just say – their wedding was so much fun. They are adorable, they are so loved by their family members and friends, and they’re just good people. I loved their engagement session in Bentonville last summer and am so excited to share these with you! We started at 8th Street Market where we wandered around for some amazing spots (obsessed with all the concrete + foliage shots!) and then finished at Tanyard Creek in Bella Vista. It was a laid back dream shoot!
