Y’all! Liz and Jordan’s wedding makes me so incredibly happy.
Married at the Texas Discovery Gardens in Dallas, Liz and Jordan’s wedding was a total party. Their guests were hilarious, their dance party was amazing, and everyone just had so much fun + laughed so much through the entire day (even when things got crazy!). It was a dream and a dream to photograph!
The day before Liz and Jordan’s wedding, it poured torrential rain and there was so much water everywhere that their garden wedding had to be moved inside. Then, about an hour after Jordan got to the venue, he realized that his suit pants had been left at home. And during the reception? I got a bunch of us locked in the butterfly garden. And y’know what happened every time? Everyone laughed and kept having a blast! Weddings can be so unexpected + crazy but the unexpected + crazy is still so fun! While, yes, I’m sure that Liz and Jordan would have rather been married in a garden, their inside wedding was gorgeous (those windows and lights!), Jordan forgetting his pants will be a story they tell their kids, and, honestly, who gets locked in a butterfly garden?! It was such an amazing and memorable and happy day!
Love these two, loved their wedding, and love all the laughter that made their wedding day so unforgettable and fun and freaking rad. Congratulations, you two!! You’re the best!
