If you’ve never shot in-home studio photography with plastic flamingos, have you even lived?
Before October, I’d say “obviously” but, after this shoot, I’m not so sure! This cheesy little prom shoot was a freaking blast from start to finish and I absolutely love these photographs of Alexa!
I wrote this several months back on my Instagram but, the day I took these photographs, I took a quick trip to Hobby Lobby to grab some more tulle and, as I stood in the cutting line with an overflowing basket, a women in line exclaimed, “Those are the happiest colors!!” and I could not agree more. I love being able to create bright and happy photographs and this session with Alexa was one for the books!

P.S. Doesn’t Alexa look like a real life Princess Peach in these? Someone pointed this out to me when I posted them on Insta and, once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee the resemblance. So fun!!
