Opal and June Product Shoot
It’s nearing dinnertime on Wednesday and I am bursting to tell y’all two things.
One! If you’re not listening to the podcast “You’re Wrong About…”, run to your favorite podcast app and fix this! I listened to their two part series on Tonya Harding last night (loved it!) and have been listening to their episode about The Godfather today and IT. IS. SO. GOOD. Go listen!!
Two! Alyssa and I took these photographs in my office as Poppy slept in her bouncer nearby and I am freaking proud of them. I never thought that I’d find myself shooting studio work but, lately, I am loving the shoots I’ve been doing in my office. They are so fun to shoot and create!
Here’s a little about this shoot! With Opal and June closing in on its one year anniversary (crazy!), I have been shooting jewelry and accessories as frequently as possible. There’s still a lot we need to get up on the website – I may have found out I was pregnant with Poppy immediately after we laughed the Opal and June website and officially opened for rentals! – and, while I love shooting jewelry in cute little vignettes, I wanted some photographs of the jewelry being worn! This shoot with Alyssa (love her!) was a total blast and I’m so glad we got together to shoot these! Alyssa is so much fun to hang out with and so beautiful inside and out. She barely has a stitch of makeup on in these photographs and I can’t get over how amazing she looks!!
Go and plan yourself a styled shoot, y’all! This jewelry shoot was a total dream and I’m super excited to get these earrings out in rotation for photographers to use in awesome shoots across the country. It’s the best!!
