Hello from Maternity Leave, my friends!
My family and I are dying for little Miss Penelope to show her face around here – I am officially the most pregnant I have ever been in my entire life! – and, between cleaning all the baseboards, crocheting all the blankets, washing all the baby clothes, having all the false labor, randomly buying super cheap eBay outfits, eating all the ice, watering my yard obsessively, walking all the neighborhood and spending all my spare time on my exercise ball, I wanted to pop in and share the most amazing June wedding with y’all!

I mentioned this way back in their sneak peek blog post, but Lauren and Zach are just insanely full of joy in every way possible. Together since high school – they were even prom king and queen their senior year! – these two are so genuine, so in love, and just so freaking happy that you can’t help but smile as soon as you see them. And their wedding? It was an explosion of color and laugher and emotion and fun and every single part of it was – you guessed it! – so full of joy. Lauren is the freaking sweetest and crazy creative (she’s an elementary art school teacher and has the sweetest painting business, too!) and this showed in every part of their wedding day at Kindred Barn. I loved being there to celebrate with them so much!
Congratulations, Lauren and Zach!! Y’all are incredible and I hope your first anniversary was amazing!
