Happy (almost!) Summer, Friends!
Henry’s kindergarten graduation was today (not even sure how this is possible!!) so let’s roll it back to the end of summer last year! Amanda and Chandler are so much fun – Kristen and I photographed their engagement session at a bowling alley back in the fall of 2017! – and their August wedding at The Garden Room in Fayetteville was so freaking sweet in every single way.
I mean, look at this bride!! Get ready for your cheeks to hurt y’all cause this one’s a fun one!
Here’s three things I loved about Amanda and Chandler’s wedding day!
One: Elton!
If y’all know me and my fam, you know that we LOVE our pups! Victoria and Einstein are fluffy little fur balls of energy and love and we absolutely adore them and their sassy ways! So! When Amanda and Chandler incorporated Elton into their wedding ceremony and had custom Elton cookies made by Rick’s Bakery, I couldn’t help but smile so big!! These two love their littlest family member so much and these backlit photographs of Amanda and Elton totally warm my heart. So freaking cute!!
Two: The Ceremony Setup
Andrew and I have been super lucky to photograph a whole lot of weddings at The Garden Room the past several years but Amanda and Chandler set their ceremony up in a way we’d never seen before! While most weddings use the stage at the front of the Garden Room, Amanda and Chandler mixed things up by switching to the bridge for their ceremony. This change made the ceremony feel so peaceful – look at all that greenery!! – and made their venue feel even more intimate and awesome. I loved it!
Three: Amanda and Chandler’s Portraits at the University of Arkansas!
Amanda and Chandler got engaged at the University of Arkansas’ Spoofer Stone (pictured below!) and, since it’s so close to The Garden Room, we had to pop on over for a few photographs! Amanda is seriously the most cheerful person ever and I love how these photographs turned out! Also! Mad props to Andrew for going back to the venue and grabbing Amanda’s bouquet when all four of us totally forgot it! Ha!
Amanda and Chandler, y’all are AMAZING! We had so much fun with y’all on your wedding day and can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since y’all got hitched! So much love to you both!
