Summer Wedding at Kindred Barn
Hello!! I am so excited to officially write my first blog post of 2019!
I’ve said this before but, this time, it takes the cake: The past few months have been a total whirlwind! Andrew and I got a HUGE surprise this past fall in the shape of a third baby on the way and we are beyond thrilled. The baby is due this summer and we can’t wait for his / her arrival!
So far, this pregnancy has been so exciting and super humbling, too. I throw myself whole heartedly into everything I do and it’s been an interesting experience to have to lower the expectations I put on myself (case in point: I haven’t blogged in nearly two months!). Since this pregnancy is actually my sixth pregnancy – I’ve had three miscarriages since Henry was born – I spent a lot of the end of 2018 in bed and at the doctor’s office for extra prenatal care. At this point, though, my pregnancy is no longer considered high risk and we are so excited about what the future will bring for our little fam!
I’m totally going to post more about this later – you know I’ve got so much to share with y’all! – but I did want to pop in and let everyone know that, while I’ll be on maternity leave for much of this summer and won’t personally be shooting weddings that fall between May 15th and September 15th, the rest of the year (and next year!) is totally fair game! We have a stellar lineup of weddings this fall and have started booking next year, too! I’ve shot lots of weddings pregnant and as a brand new mom and I’m super excited for the experience again. It’s going to be so fun! And even better this time around? Kristen and Michaela are booking LCP weddings for the summer and they are awesome! So even if I can’t personally shoot your summer wedding, definitely check and see if either of my associates are available – you’ll love ’em!
BUT! Enough about me! Let’s talk about Sydney and Jared’s wedding day instead!
Sydney and Jared are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever been able to photograph. High school sweethearts, these two are so much fun and so in love and, basically, they are adorable enough to give anyone a toothache. Like, I just want to say “THEY ARE SO SWEET!” fifteen times in this blog post because they really, really are the sweetest couple ever and I absolutely love Sydney. And fun fact! They are having a baby GIRL later this year and I am so excited for them!!
A little more about Sydney and Jared’s wedding day: Their wedding was so full of joy, so full of ridiculously happy family + friends (there were so many happy tears at this wedding, y’all!), and absolutely beautiful in every single way. Held at Kindred Barn at the end of May, they had gorgeous weather, the most stunning flowers by Vase and Vine (I swear I can still smell ’em!) and, honestly, it was just the sweetest day in every single way. Y’all are going to love these photographs so much!
Annnnnd I’m going to stop writing and show y’all these photographs so I stop peppering the word “sweet”, like, eight times in every paragraph. It’s true though!! See for yourself with the images below!
