Engagement Photographs at Tanyard Creek

The first time I talked with Elizabeth, I liked her immediately. Right off the bat, we started chatting and realized that her love story with Marcus was super similar to my love story with Andrew and, after this discovery, it was extra fun to talk with her about her life, her relationship with Marcus, and their plans for the future. Elizabeth is one of the most genuine, kind and fun girls I have ever met and her engagement session with Marcus was so stinking fun! These two are over the moon for one another!
As a wedding photographer, I get to photograph lots of fun things – couples sessions in front of car headlights, over the top styled shoots in airplane hangers, weddings in amazing restored buildings, portrait sessions in the ocean, and family sessions at ice cream shops (more on that later!) – but my favorite thing about photography is this: No one is the same. Seriously!! The more I photograph people, the more I realize that everyone has the most amazing spark in themselves and in their relationships and my favorite thing about photographing so many people is the moment when I see a person’s personality strike through their photographs no matter the location or the props or the time of day. Elizabeth and Marcus are so laid back and so fun loving and I absolutely love that they came to their engagement session super in love and ready to have a bundle of fun while sporting simple shirts and jeans. Time flew by at this session – we laughed the entire time! – and, every time I look at these, I burst into a huge grin because these two lovebirds are so star crazy for each other and I freaking love it. These two are so much fun and so ready to laugh!
