Lauren and Nick are married and I’m so excited for them!
I love happy couples (obviously) and, every time I look at Lauren and Nick’s wedding photographs – or, heck, think about their wedding day at all! – I break out into a huge grin. Lauren and Nick are one of those couples that you just can’t help but feel giddy for and their spring wedding day at Sassafras Springs was everything and more. It was so full of joy, so full of happy tears, so full of celebratory friends and family, and so full of sore cheeks because everyone couldn’t even stop smiling! Congratulations, Lauren and Nick!! Y’all are the bee’s knees and I can’t even get over how much fun + how happy your wedding turned out to be!
Here’s three things I loved about their wonderful wedding day!
One: The Robes!
I’ve seen – and loved! – a lot of wedding robes in my life as a wedding photographer but, as soon as I saw the robes for Lauren’s bridesmaids, I couldn’t help but squeal a little inside. These robes were both beautiful and crazy soft and I bet all these girls have been using them so much after the wedding! They were gorgeous!
Two: The Letters!
Y’all know that I am a sucker for a good love story (can’t help myself!) but Lauren reading Nick’s letter to her before their wedding was such a heartwarming moment. Many of my couples have chosen to forgo first looks this year and I love that, at Lauren and Nick’s wedding, they still chose a way to celebrate their love for one another before the ceremony. Lauren is so sweet and seeing her break down in happy tears before her wedding made, like, my entire wedding month – and it was an amazing month!! Love her!
Three: That Nick carried Lauren down the aisle.
Nick is, hands down, one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and, besides being ridiculously kind, he’s also head over heels in love with Lauren. So! When he surprised her by picking her up and walking her down the aisle right after they said their vows and became husband and wife, I wasn’t even a little surprised! These two make the most beautiful couple and I just can’t get over how much love they have for one another. They are such a wonderful pair and I feel so lucky to know them and am so excited for them to be married, too! Lauren and Nick booked their wedding sixteen months in advance and, y’all, that made witnessing their wedding day even more special – so thrilled for this fantastic duo and their families, too!
And One More! THESE FLOWERS!!
Carolyn is one of the sweetest wedding planners in all of Northwest Arkansas and she KILLED the flowers at Lauren and Nick’s wedding. Can’t get over the colors, the textures, and the way they blended so well with the venue. This was my first time working with Carolyn and I can’t recommend her enough!
Lauren and Nick, you are amazing! Thank you for having me as part of your wedding day!
