The day after their wedding, Kelli and Andy got matching tattoos.
I’m still holding out on their full wedding blog post (it’ll be posting soon!) but, this morning, I wanted to pop in and share these awesome – and unique! – photographs! Since Kelli and Andy live in St. Louis and we all have crazy schedules, we opted for a day-after couples session rather than an engagement session before their wedding and, when Kelli called and asked if I would photograph them getting matching tattoos, I said “YES!” and then danced a bit in my chair because I’d never photographed anyone getting a tattoo. Honestly, I’d never even been inside a tattoo parlor before this session! Crazy, right?!
Kelli and Andy got their awesome tattoos at Iron Age Studios in St. Louis and it was such a fun morning. If y’all know me, you know that I’m a bit of a firecracker – I constantly make lame jokes and talk nonstop while I’m shooting sessions – and Kelli and Andy both have the BEST senses of humor so this session was amazing! These two are such a blast and I loved taking these photographs for them! They are awesome!!
Also! Huge shoutout to Kelli and Andy for getting this shoot together! Their wedding was a total party and we were all up so early the next morning to take these! Worth it!!
We ended the shoot across the street at Blueberry Hill!
Kelli and Andy had their very first date at Blueberry Hill in St. Louis – they met while working at a restaurant together! – and it was so fun to go back and hear them reminisce about when they got together… and also jokingly argue about where in the restaurant they had their first kiss. Ha!
