It finally happened!!
For my website’s five year anniversary, I sat myself down and brought it out of the mobile stone age of January 2013 and into the hip, new and mobile-friendly scene of February 2018 (can a married mother of two say “hip new scene”? Probably not but I’m doing it!) and I am SO thrilled with the results. If you’re like me and super OCD, you might notice some discrepancies here and there – I can’t figure out how to get the spacing of my blog post photographs exactly the same space apart as the blog post photographs from my last design – but, like, no big. This website has seen several redesigns over the years but this one was the first major overhaul and I’m so stoked to have a website that actually works on phones. It’s really exciting!!
Also exciting? Today is the day I FINALLY get to share of Lauren and Nick’s engagement session!
Lauren and Nick got the BEST fall colors for their engagement session.
The trees at The University of Arkansas were on fire – still can’t get over how gorgeous the day was!! – and I had so much fun walking around with them! Not gonna lie – there’s this myth that the best fall colors in Arkansas happen in October but, most of the time, they happen the first and second week of November (Don’t believe me? Lauren and Nick’s engagement session was November 5th; Kelli and Andy’s Missouri wedding was on November 3rd; Lauren and Collier’s Eureka Springs wedding was on November 12th, 2016) and I get downright giddy when I get to photograph so many amazing colors in one spot – it transforms everything and creates so much magic! I love it!
More about Lauren and Nick! A self proclaimed “laid back and goofy” couple (check out Nick’s rad socks in the photo below!), Lauren and Nick met in a public speaking class while at the university and they are so sweet and so funny and so easy to laugh (love that!) and I am so pumped for their April wedding at Sassafras Springs. Lauren is going to make the most stunning bride – isn’t her sense of style so good?! – and I’m so thrilled for these two to start their married life! Yeah, Lauren and Nick!!
