It’s 11:30 at night and I am SO excited to share these sweet engagement photographs!
Matthew and Jessie are so much fun. Like, they just exude life and joy and they have so much fun together. We laughed through their entire session (even when we totally lost one another at the park!), explored downtown Fayetteville (also while laughing) and we just had the most awesome time. And honestly? I’m just going to say it: These two totally remind me of me and Andrew when we were in college. They are so giddy, so in love, and so excited to get married that, when you’re around them, you can’t help but bust out a huge smile. I absolutely love these two and cannot even wait for them to tie the knot at Gulf Shores this fall! It’s going to be the BEST! SO EXCITED!!

After shooting around the Square, we headed to Wilson Park!
I have been going to Wilson Park since before we moved here. I have ran around this park for countless shoots and play dates; My kids take swimming lessons at the pool every summer and I photographed my brother and sister-in-law’s family here, like, the first week we lived in Fayetteville. And once?! I even saw my best friend’s son cut himself right under his eyebrow while climbing on the Wilson Park Castle. I mean, I know this place in and out and side to side!
But! Despite knowing this place like the back of my hand, I had never in my life seen this creek opening. I don’t know how I missed it – once I saw it, I fell totally in love! – but I’m so obsessed with this spot and I’m so glad Jessie and Matthew were game for the climb down to wade in the creek. I love these sweet photographs so much and can’t wait for these lovebirds to say “I do!” on the most beautiful beach in the universe (not that I’m biased!). C’mon October!!
