Fun Fact! I have been blogging since I was a junior in high school.
It went like this: High School Xanga (which, gratefully, College Freshman Me erased from the Internet), Pretentious College Blog (which I am NOT linking!), a Mom Blog (which you can read here!), my first photography blog, and then this blog you’re on at this very second.
At this point, I’ve blogged about everything under the sun. From my very own engagement story written on the very same day that we officially became engaged (Andrew and I have two engagement stories and the one just linked is the one I never tell. Ha!) to stories about Batman sneakers to posts about Italy and Vegas and Alabama and Washington DC and San Francisco and New York and Seattle to posts where I have gushed over so many awesome and incredible and amazing and inspiring, life changing people. I’m not joking. Like, right now, at this very moment, there are 207 (!!!) love stories on this blog! Two Hundred and SEVEN! That’s just the love stories, y’all!
And yet? As I sit here this afternoon trying to put Weisi and Trae’s wedding into words, I really can’t. I keep coming up short and here is why: Weisi and Trae’s wedding was exceptional. I have such mad respect for this amazing (and hilarious!) couple and, in ten years, I am 100% positive that I will list the wedding below as one of my very favorite weddings of all time. Weisi and Trae fell in love in New York City, traveled the world together, and married one another in the middle of a thunderstorm in a glass chapel built by Trae’s family. And instead of gushing all over these photographs with words? I’m just going to lay them out for you instead. These two are the real deal, y’all. The real deal.
See what I mean? Weisi and Trae and their friends and family are AMAZING! And so fun, too! Thank you so much for having me as your wedding photographer, Weisi and Trae! Y’all are so wonderful and I absolutely loved documenting your wedding day! Thanks again!
And last but not least! Some Vendor Love! Ceremony Venue: Mildred B. Cooper Chapel // Reception Venue: Horton Farms // Wedding Planner: Kate & Company // Florist: Flora in Fayetteville // Rentals: KFB Events and Eventures // Bartender: Pink House Alchemy // Wedding Pie (which, let’s be honest, was the cutest!!): Gooseberry Pie // Makeup Artist: Glo // DJ: Trent for DJ Maxx // Landscaper: Albert’s Landscaping // Food: The Hive and Penguin Ed’s // Casino: ESI Parties // Ceremony Music: Music Inspirations
P.S. Okay, fine! ONE story! I have to give a huge shoutout to this amazing Maid of Honor. Due to the crazy weather, the power on the patio died right when people started dancing. Guess who fixed the power? This girl in the pink dress! Way to be a wizard, Sarah!! You are awesome.
