I so loved photographing Katie’s Bentonville Senior Session!
I first met Katie at Gator Golf when she modeled for an adorable Class of 2017 Group Senior Session and, y’all, she is awesome and crazy talented. Katie has all kinds of awards (and rings!) in Cross Country, Swimming, and Track and she is so much fun to be around. Katie exudes life – when she smiles it lights up her whole body! – and as a huge lover of life & also a huge lover of people who love life, I loved Katie as soon as I met her. She’s totally the kind of friend I would have had in High School.
For Katie’s Senior Session, we want to keep her photographs bright and happy and classic. We started her shoot at Crystal Bridges and the neutral tones were perfect for Katie’s bright red dress. This girl is such a stunner! Also stunning? The light at Crystal Bridges. Swoon.
How cute is this girl?! She is so fun to photograph!
I love these next photographs taken at the Crystal Bridges Trail. Katie’s Senior Session was on the sunniest day ever and, after months where it seemed to rain (or nearly rain!) for days on days on days, it was so fun to photograph Katie in amazing light. Sunlight is my favorite.
And last but not least!
We ended Katie’s Senior Session at the Old Tiger Track in Bentonville. I’ve shot a few sessions at this track – both Kathryn and Nathan had photographs taken here! – and it was seriously hopping while we took Katie’s Senior Photographs. I loved Katie’s whole session whole heartedly and ending at the track was so fun! Katie – who is just as beautiful inside as she is on the outside – loves running so much and I am so glad we were able to incorporate that love into her session. This girl is the best!
Also the best? Katie’s mom! Katie and her mom make the best mother – daughter team and working with them for Katie’s Senior Session was such a dream. They are amazing!
Congratulations on your Senior Year, Katie! You are awesome.
