Y’all. I can’t even tell you how far behind I am on blogging.
Nevertheless! I can SHOW you how far behind I am on blogging! And today? I am so excited to introduce y’all to Lindsay and Jess and their ridiculously gorgeous September engagement session in Fayetteville. Lindsay and Jess are incredible people – Jess is an ER doctor; Lindsay is a high school teacher – and, basically, I think the world of them. Both of these lovebirds are so easy to talk with and we laughed through their entire session and they didn’t even make fun of me when I had a minor panic attack while walking through a huge family of rock spiders.
Yes! Rock Spiders! I’m guessing they have a real name (that Jess totally knew off the top his head at the session – ha!) but, since they lived in rocks at the lake, I’m calling them Rock Spiders… or Lake Rock Spiders. Or we-almost-turned-away-from-a-dreamy-location-Spiders.
ANYWAY. Apparently falling behind on blogging has led me to ramble so let’s get to the good stuff. And the good stuff? It’s Lindsay and Jess and their bright and happy engagement photographs.
Lindsay and Jess wanted to incorporate the PIGShibition Pigs in Fayetteville for their engagement session as a shoutout to the University and here’s how it went: With total confidence, I mentioned the statue on the Square and, when I got there, it was missing. I can’t tell you how absolutely certain I was that the pig was there – I’d even checked it out at the Farmer’s Market a week or so before! – but, turns out, the pig had been moved several weeks (maybe even months!) before and, when I’d checked it out from afar, I had only thought I’d seen it; not actually seen it. I’m really cool, guys.
But! The world (and engagement sessions!) works in mysterious ways and, because we got to head to the Pig at the Inn at Carnall Hall, we were also able to stop by Wilson Park and we got to take both Pig Pictures and the most spectacular flower pictures ever. Like, I fangirl over these next photographs. Can you believe that those purple flowers were at the edge of a parking lot? Hello, Gorgeous!!
After our PIGShibition adventure, we headed to one of my very favorite locations in all of Northwest Arkansas. Lindsay wore the most amazing Free People dress for these photographs and I’m pretty sure I yelled “YES!!” at these two at least fifteen times in thirteen minutes as we took these lakeside photographs. Lindsay and Jess were up for anything – we had to crawl through a dead creek (full of spiders!) for these photographs and I just love them so much.
Like, so much that I’m going to stop gushing and I’m just going to show you the photographs instead.
