I had so much fun teaching at Click Away this year. Like, it was the best week.
Seattle is the most unique and gorgeous city and I’m dying (in a good way!) inside that I was finally able to see it in real life. And even better? I absolutely loved connecting with photographers from all over the country. At the conference, I was able to teach a class on High School Senior Photography and I was also able to lead an advanced class about using color and texture to create bright and happy photographs. I had the best students in my classes – they asked the most amazing questions and participated with their whole hearts! – and, nearly two weeks later, I’m still reeling from how wonderful it was. It was that amazing and inspiring and uplifting.
Here’s a short editing video of photographs from the conference! I currently feel so inspired to share photography knowledge and I so hope that y’all enjoy this video. Also, ignore any weird sounds! I recorded this on my laptop and totally had my laptop resting on an enormous Lego storage box and it made a weird noise every time I moved the computer even a tiny amount. Ha!
Here are the Before and Afters!
I’ve included two photographs not included in the video above. And while every photograph is different? The exact same techniques displayed above were used on each photograph.
Thanks for coming to my classes, y’all! I loved meeting each and every one of you!
P.S. Huge shoutout to Color INC for sponsoring my classes. Their products are amazing and, if you love color, you NEED to check them out. I fangirled so hard over the products they sent me before the conference and the owners of the business are so kind that they’re basically magic. Love them!
P.P.S. I just realized that I edited two photographs where the models held things in front of their faces. And the funniest part? I only take photographs with this pose once in a blue moon!
