Back in 2014, I had a vision.
It went like this: Ice Cream. Mini Golf. Sunlight. Class of 2015 Senior Models.
After calling Gator Golf and sending my girls outfit ideas, I had everything set up for the session and I was real excited to get to shooting. Like, I was ridiculously pumped for the session and talked about it for a week. And then! It rained like ca-razy!! We ended up shooting at the Fayetteville Public Library instead (where the sun came out right at the very end!) and, two years and two months later, I finally got to shoot a mini golf session and it was incredible. I mean, look at this sun!
Everything about our Class of 2017 Mini Golf session was perfect: The light was crazy gorgeous, the girls – Ashley, Shalyn, and Katie – were super cheerful (also amazing and funny and super beautiful, too), and Katie’s mom made the most amazing helper (thanks, Kendra!). I had the best time with these girls and am so excited to share these photographs. These are so fun and they are also 100% my very favorite type of senior photographs to shoot. Way to be a blast, y’all!
How gorgeous is Shalyn?! The light at the golf course was to die for and I love this image.
^^^ Pretty sure Ashley has “Best Smile” in the bag for Bentonville High School’s Class of 2017. Her smile is contagious and we laughed through this entire session. Seriously, it was the best! ^^^
Naturally, we had to take some photographs by the elephant.
True story: I bought Katie’s kimono at The Junk Ranch in Prairie Grove a few weeks ago. I love kimonos and brought, like, three for Katie to choose from for our photographs. This one worked so perfect for her outfit!! And when I wore it a few days after this? I realized that the kimono had a huge split down the seam. Katie is such a joy and I can’t wait for her senior photographs in September!
After Mini Golf (thanks again for having us, Gator Golf!) we headed across to the street to Braum’s for ice cream cones. Could these three girls be any cuter? I think no! I feel like a total gusher in this blog post but, really, this session could not have been more perfect. Thanks for being so fun and full of life, girls! Y’all are the perfect representation of the Class of 2017 and I LOVED meeting all y’all!
