I mean, for starters, look at this sweet photograph!!
I first met Ashley back in 2013 when I shot the (very first!) lookbook for Shop Impressions. I liked Ashley immediately – she is totally driven and happy and girly and my kind of person – and, when she contacted me back in May for photographs of her daughter, Evie B., I was so thrilled! These three make up the sweetest family and I loved photographing them in their backyard! Their session – which celebrated Evie’s upcoming first birthday and a surprise pregnancy announcement (!!!) – was a total dream and I adore every single one of their photographs!
Get ready for some photographs of the most adorable baby girl, the most amazing floral dress (from Shop Impressions here!), the most amazing light, and the most beautiful couple because this blog post has it all and I am so thrilled to share these photos with y’all today.
This little almost-one year old is so loved! Ashley’s family is one of the happiest families I have ever met and Evie was the easiest baby to photograph ever. She could not be cuter!!
Jules Design created the flower crowns and bouquet for Ashley’s family shoot. These flower crowns added so much joy to these sweet photographs. Seriously, how awesome are these florals?!
This next set of photographs are two of my very favorites from this session. Ashley and Matt are so excited for their new addition and I loved being able to take these sweet photographs for them. Also, the Canon 85 1.2 is the best and I love the dreaminess shooting at 1.2 can add to photographs.
Evie loved my camera so, naturally, I laid down on the ground and let her crawl for it. This girl laughed and played so hard through the entire session – I meant it earlier when I said she was the easiest baby to photograph! #futuremodel
We ended our session by taking a few photographs of Evie on the sweetest floral blanket. I don’t get to photograph families often – only once every month or so – and, whenever I photograph a family with a young baby, I go straight into mom mode. The photographs below are all extremely similar to photographs I took of Henry when he was around Evie’s age and I love them.
Congratulations on this new – and upcoming! – phase of your life, Ashley and Matt! Having two kids is the absolute best and y’all are in for such a blast with two under two!
