I have this (terribly cute) photograph of Henry that hangs next to my desk. He’s at the beach as a nine month old and, in the photograph, his hair is wild and he’s sporting his sun-face (squinty eyes for days!) and he looks naked because you can’t see his diaper.
Henry loves this photograph.
Every morning, he runs into my office, says “I love you, Mommy!” and, immediately after, he points to the photograph and says “Is this me?!” in a super excited voice while jumping up and down (Henry is always jumping up and down – homeboy has a zeal for life!). So! Yesterday! When he barreled upstairs asking to eat a snack of Ritz crackers, I struck a bargain: Ritz crackers for some photographs. I don’t usually bribe my kids for photographs but, this time, it was totally worth it!

Annnnd here’s two more of him being a goofball. I hope this boy never changes because he is the funniest. Check out that grin!! This boy (and his brother!) totally own my heart. #momlife
