Morgan’s Senior Session was a coincidence with an awesome bow wrapped on top.
It went like this! I hurt my ankle at Nathan’s Senior Session by falling into a hole while walking backwards (I’m real graceful, y’all!). Morgan’s session was two days after Nathan’s and, try as I might, I wasn’t able to walk the day of her session. Andrew really, really wanted me to keep the session on the original date so that he could push me around in a wheelchair on campus (he once pushed me around in a wheelchair at Disneyland and I’m pretty sure it’s one of his favorite my-wife-is-ridiculous memories ever) but, since I wasn’t sold on that idea, Morgan and I started talking about new dates for her session. As we talked, Morgan mentioned that she was going to be in New York that weekend and, because I was hopeful, I wrote back “New York City?!” and, five minutes later, Morgan and I were planning her session in Central Park. It was awesome.
Morgan, a college Senior at the University of Arkansas, has the best taste in shoes, the most amazing taste in cute dresses, and is so much fun to be around. I’m still so excited about how everything fell in line for Morgan’s session – we went from planning a session at the University of Arkansas to a session at New York City’s Central Park in a matter of minutes and it was so fun to not only meet Morgan in New York City but also to explore a brand new – famous! – location that I’d never been to before. It was a dream come true and I loved every second!
Morgan is headed to Denver after graduating from college and I am so excited to see what the world has in store for her! I had such a blast with Morgan and her mom at her Senior Session earlier this month and am so thrilled to share these photographs with y’all! It was FREEZING when we took these and I’m so impressed with how relaxed Morgan looks in all of her photographs. Way to be a natural model, Morgan! And now! Here’s those photographs!
Morgan wanted to play with light during her session so we used a prism for a few of her photographs. I love the extra oomph prisms bring to galleries and absolutely love the one below. Look at those rainbows!! I had so much fun taking these!
^^^ Morgan didn’t plan on wearing her coat during her photographs but, when I saw it, I made her wear it anyways. Also, yes! We totally talked about Gossip Girl and the fact that we were taking Morgan’s photographs where Chuck and Blair got married. Chuck and Blair forever! ^^^
I was so excited to find blossoming trees in the middle of Central Park. These next photographs are some of my very favorites! Morgan’s pink dress is from ASOS and I seriously want one for myself. It’s so cute and my face basically turned into a heart eye emoticon when she pulled it out.
We ended Morgan’s photographs at The Mall and the light was perfect. Thanks for the most amazing session, Morgan! I had the best time and am so thrilled with your photographs!
