I have had the best time getting to know my 2016 Senior Models over the past year and, now that graduation is around the corner, I’ll be celebrating each of them by posting Senior Model Spotlight interviews every Wednesday from now until the end of school. Here’s Molly, y’all!
Name: Molly Little
High School: Bentonville High School
It’s Saturday night. What are you doing? I usually spend Saturday nights with my friends or with my little brother. Something that I absolutely love to do is to go to Fayetteville and watch local bands!
What activities have you been involved in during High School? I have been extremely involved in high school! This year, I am involved in student council, School of Rock Bentonville Rogers, St. Stephen’s LifeTeen Leadership, and National Honor Society. I have also been a member of the Bentonville High School dance team, the Bentonville High School bowling team, Interact Club, Student to Student Mentoring and Model United Nations.
What do you wish you would have known before Senior Year? Something that I would’ve liked to know before starting my senior year is that regardless of how “sure” you are, you will change your mind a million times about where you will be going to college. You won’t know where you’re going until your second semester, but don’t let that stress you out. Same with what you plan to study!!
What’s been your favorite part of Senior Year so far? My favorite part of senior year has been realizing who I am and what I really enjoy doing. I feel like I am learning a lot about myself, through my out of school activities and my challenging courses, as well as when I’m with my friends! Senior year is different because you don’t really need to try to impress anyone anymore, considering you will not see a majority of these people in a couple months.
What are your plans after graduation? After graduation, I will be attending Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! I plan to be really involved on campus and even study abroad in Spain!! After college, before I do any kind of graduate schooling, I plan to go on an 11-month long mission trip with the World Race.
Any advice for upcoming seniors? My advice to upcoming seniors: your happiness comes first. At this point, you don’t have much time left before you have to really grow up, which is both terrifying and exciting at the same time. Also, you should really try to spend time with your family and with yourself. It is okay to spend Friday or Saturday night at home!! You are going to miss your parents (and your bed) more than you ever imagined and they are going to miss you, too.
