Weisi and Trae are the funniest most hilarious couple.
I mean, the photograph above? It kills me every single time I see it!
Weisi and Trae live in New York City (Trae is the chef behind Pearl & Ash and Weisi opens restaurants which is probably the most amazing job ever) and, this fall, they are marrying each other at Cooper Chapel in Bella Vista. I love Cooper Chapel all of the time but, for Weisi and Trae’s wedding, I love it a little extra: Trae’s family developed Bella Vista and he has a ton of family history wrapped up in their future wedding venue. I love that! And even better? Weisi and Trae are the best couple. Weisi is always on the ball and, because of this, being around her is totally energizing and really fun, too. Trae is, like, the easiest person to talk to ever and I am so thrilled that I get to be their wedding photographer at their wedding this coming September.

These next few photographs give me life. For part of their session, Weisi and Trae wanted to put a spin on classic portrait photography and, while taking these, I laughed so hard that I started crying.
Weisi and Trae’s engagement session took place at one o’clock in the afternoon and, strangely, the light was amazing. I LOVE the sunflare in this next photograph and also fangirled super hard over the light inside Trae’s family home. It was superb.
If you haven’t noticed yet, I need y’all to notice now that Trae is wearing overalls and no shoes in these photographs. And Weisi’s dress? It’s so amazing! Can’t wait to see what she wears for her wedding!
We ended Weisi and Trae’s engagement session at a nearby waterfall. Trae played in this waterfall and creek all the time as a little kid so it was extra fun to use this location for their engagement photographs. I love locations that have meaning and this waterfall was the perfect end to such a wonderful afternoon. Thanks for being so awesome, y’all!
