Erin and Eoghan married each other yesterday at the Inn at Carnall Hall and their Fayetteville wedding was spectacular. Erin is a writer at Buzzfeed in Los Angeles and Eoghan is a writer for the MTV show Scream so, basically, they were my first celebrity wedding ever and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve called them my celebrity couple (ha!). Erin and Eoghan are both seriously kind and funny and rad people and I’m so lucky that I got to photograph their wedding! I’ll gush more on these two later on their full blog post (y’all know I’m nothing if not a gusher!) but, today, I wanted to take a minute and celebrate their wedding a bit by posting five things I loved about their Valentine’s Day wedding. So! In no specific order! Here they are!!
One: The Flowers! Cindy Stevenson of ZuZu’s Petals was the florist and she is a floral sorcerer.
Two: The Bridal Party! If you are familiar with my work, you’ve probably noticed that I do not take bridal party photographs seriously. I mean, I take them seriously because I approach them like a boss but a lot of my bridal party photographs are just straight up peppy and fun and full of cheering. Weddings are celebrations, y’all! And these guys were the easiest to photograph.
Three: The Valentines tucked inside of the guests’ place settings. Be still my heart.
Four: Erin’s Ring. Obviously.
Five: The Ceremony. As a Northwest Arkansas wedding photographer, I have attended a ton of wedding ceremonies and, because I am super cheesy and feel all of the feels all of the time, I usually well up during ceremonies. But! At Erin and Eoghan’s ceremony, I tore up laughing. Their officiant (also known as the groomsman in glasses pictured above) was hilarious and poignant and he totally rocked the ceremony. I have never heard so many people laugh at a wedding before! It was wonderful!!
I cannot wait to share more of Erin and Eoghan’s winter wedding with y’all! It was such a lovely day!
