Jennifer’s Senior Session was FUN. Bolded and in all capitals.
Jennifer is the oldest of four girls (which I love – large families are the best!) and her sixteen year old sister came with her to her Senior Session. Then, on top of that, Kristen Grisham shadowed me at Jennifer’s session (this was the first time I met Kristen! She is so sweet!). So! Altogether, there were four of us laughing and traipsing around the woods as I photographed Jennifer and, honestly, it was basically like a mini party. I loved photographing this awesome girl!
A little more about Jennifer: Jennifer is a 2016 Senior at Rogers High School and she is just totally my kind of girl: She loves movies and the outdoors and her parents own several Mexican restaurants (meaning we should be best friends) and she is super kind and loving and totally up for anything, too. She is awesome and I love that she wanted water photographs in November especially because – not to get ahead of myself or anything – these water photographs may be my favorite water photographs that I have ever taken. I can’t believe we got such awesome weather and were able to shoot Jennifer’s senior photographs with so many leaves in the water. The whole setup was perfect! I have been dying to share these photographs for months – not just the water photographs but the field photographs and the forest photographs, too! – and, now that the time is here, I’m going to stop talking so y’all can see these photographs. You are gorgeous, Jennifer!!
Fun Fact! The chair in these photographs is my desk chair and it is literally the most awkward chair to carry ever. It’s not heavy – just a really weird shape – and I laugh every time I have to carry it anywhere. Also, you didn’t hear this here, but I may have swiped that chair at a vintage market real quick when, while debating it, I heard a nice couple talking about the price. #noregrets
Here we go!! Jennifer got this super beautiful dress from Plato’s Closet and I love how it photographed. These kinds of photographs, y’all, they are my favorite thing to shoot. If I could put heart eyed emoticons into my blog easily, I’d totally post a string of them right here.
