Every once in a while, you get real lucky with a wedding.
Now! I’ll be totally honest! I am extremely lucky with all of my weddings. I honestly book the most amazing and fun and kind brides and feel so lucky that I’m able to do so. I love my brides. But! Even then! Sometimes, you just get real lucky with a wedding and, this year, I got real lucky with Mary Beth and Cameron and their wedding at Pinnacle Country Club.
Mary Beth and Cameron live in Colorado. Cameron is from Oklahoma and attended the University of Arkansas. Mary Beth grew up in Pennsylvania and attended college in New York City. Her parents live in Arkansas but her extended family lives all over the Northeast. So! Because of the fact that there were so many wonderful people together from so many places, I really wanted to capture the happiness – and the celebration! – that everyone felt for MB and Cameron. I’ve gushed on these two at length before – particularly in their engagement post! – but Mary Beth and Cameron are one of those amazing couples that you can’t help but fall in love with instantly – and I really, really wanted their wedding photographs to be amazing. I mean, I really just wanted their entire day (not just photographs!) to be amazing! And it was! Their day was such a celebration of love and joy and, honestly, it was downright delightful. I loved photographing their wedding and just feel so lucky that I was able to work with such an amazing group of people. It was such a wonderful day!
Shirley’s Flowers created the (amazing!) bouquet and greenery for Mary Beth and Cameron’s wedding. I still can’t get over how gorgeous the florals were around the chandeliers! Way to go, Shirley’s!
I’m not one to husband brag on my blog too much (only in real life!) but Andrew got so many killer shots at this wedding – and he did them all from sitting in the exact same seat! #talented
I have to give mad props for both Mary Beth and Cameron when it came to their wedding photographs. These two were married on a Saturday. Mary Beth’s bridal session was that Wednesday and their engagement session was on Thursday. I had cameras pointing at these lovebirds all week!
Obviously, we needed another photograph of MB’s Kate Spade gnome purse.
I’m so excited to share these reception photographs with y’all! Their reception was perfect!
Memphis Soul Revue played during the reception and there was so much dancing. So. Much. Dancing. I love photographing fun and lively receptions and these are some of my favorite dancing photographs of the entire year (side note: I’m also still crushing on the dance party at Jamie and John’s Carnall Hall wedding). These guys are so in love and definitely know how to party, too!
