Sarah is an amazing person.
I know that I use the terms “amazing” and “wonderful” and “incredible” and all kinds of superlatives when I talk about my clients but, honestly, I completely and totally mean it when I use those words. Being a photographer is kind of a weird job – you spend a lot of time on your own with editing and blogging (!!!) and scheduling and working on the business side of things but, on the other hand, photographers are able to meet all kinds of different people with all kinds of different personalities and stories and it is just absolutely the best job ever. I love it and I loved getting to know Sarah at her senior session. We had so much fun!
Sarah graduated from Fayetteville High School in May – she’s friends with Julia! – and she has the most amazing story. Sarah is diabetic and really passionate about spreading awareness and advocacy for diabetes and she has even been to D.C. to meet with Congressmen and Senators as an Ambassador for the Juvenile Research Foundation. She also finished 7th in her class and has amazing taste in shoes and she is an absolutely incredible person who is going so many wonderful places. I am so excited for her and all the road she has before her! And along with being totally amazing and smart and just an all around spectacular person? Sarah is so much fun to hang out with. She is totally poised and collected but also super warm and caring and we laughed through her entire session – from joking about books to just talking about our lives, I could photograph her over and over again.
Also, a huge shout out to Sarah’s mom, Patty! She is so awesome and I loved having her at Sarah’s session. And another shout out to the Dickson Street Bookshop for being the best bookstore on the planet. Here’s Sarah’s senior photographs, y’all! You’re going to love these!
