Erin is one of the happiest brides that has ever existed.
I’ve said this before, but I loved Erin from the second we first sat down together at Onyx Coffee Lab to talk about her wedding. Erin and Kyle make the most amazing duo – they are funny and smart and witty and crafty and adventurous – and, from the moment we first started talking about Erin’s bridals (and her totally unique + amazing wedding dress!), I knew that we were going to create total and complete magic. I looked forward to Erin’s bridal session for months! Part of this was because I knew how colorful and bright the photographs would be, of course, but the other part was just because I love hanging out with Erin – she is so much fun and I love her style!
So! After months of talking back and forth about her bridals, I woke up on a Thursday morning and saw that it was going to rain like cats and dogs (and I use that phrase sparingly). But! Instead of rescheduling, we decided to push on and, as it was pouring, we said, “Let’s go for it!!” and, because we went for it, we ended up with the most fun set of photographs – both inside and outside, too! Erin and Kyle often spend their weekends at Nightbird Books and, because of this, we wanted to incorporate the bookstore into her bridals. At first, we were going to only shoot there for a few minutes but, after arriving and seeing how amazing her dress looked with the background of bright color and books and funky light, we ended up shooting there for, like, forty-five minutes and it was one of the most amazing (and funniest!) experiences of my photography career. I loved photographing Erin’s bridal session and I am so excited to share these photographs with y’all today!
