I laughed the entire time I photographed Ashley and Joe.
It started simply enough: Joe said he didn’t know how to smile when a camera was in front of him (I don’t, either!). Then we joked about poison ivy (side note: poison ivy isn’t a laughing matter, y’all!). Then we laughed at my kids who screamed “Hey, Mama!” whenever we came into their line of sight (they were partying by the beach with their dad, obviously). Then we laughed about my excessive blanket buying habits and the way Ashley’s flower crown started falling apart and, as the session went on, we laughed more and more and more. I mean, these two are a dream! I love them! And the constant laughter that surrounds them, too!
Ashley and Joe’s Northwest Arkansas engagement session was held at Lake Wedington and, if I could, I would photograph this session, like, every day of the week. These two are so much fun! Ashley and Joe are getting married on my twenty-ninth birthday in Ashley’s grandparents’ backyard and, while I cannot believe that I am closing out on my twenties, I am so thrilled to spend my birthday with these two amazing people. Ashley and Joe know how to have a good time and I am so excited for their wedding! We are going to have so much fun!!
