I still can’t believe it happened! We made it through our week of 2016 small group Senior Model sessions with no rain!
I know, right? No rain in April? It was amazing!
I have been a lover of Gulley Park since my niece had a birthday party at the gazebo back in 2011 and, when I was thinking of locations for our Vintage Picnic shoot, I knew Gulley was the place to be (and always the place to be, apparently). I was so excited for this session and I absolutely love how our photographs turned out! We shot this entire session in a teeny, tiny radius and, after spending two hours holding food and laughing at my kids as they raced back and forth with their daddy (I can’t go to the park and not take my kids!), all of us – these awesome senior models + Molly (my helper for the day!) + my family – sat down and had pizza from Damgoode Pies. This session was a total dream and I loved every second that I spent with these sweet girls! Also, pretty sure Max and Henry were eyeing out potential babysitters but you’ll never hear that from me… in person at least.
These five girls are so amazing and, better yet, these girls have known each other for ages! Yajaira and Haydee have been best friends for years (cutest pair of best friends ever, right?!) and Kathryn, Emily, and Rylee have known each other for so long that, when I sat down to talk to all of them, it literally felt like everyone there had grown up together. Our session was so much fun and full of so much laughter and I am just feeling so lucky to have so may incredible girls on my Senior Model Team this year. You girls are the best!
Also! You better believe that I used this session to stock up on new-to-me vintage blankets found on Etsy and eBay! Pretty sure that, at this point, we could open up a blanket museum and I’m super grateful that my husband hasn’t kicked any of my blankets to the curb because, in truth, I’m kind of a blanket hoarder.
But enough about hoarding blankets! Here’s five incredibly fabulous girls and three pretty awesome floppy hats, too!
