You heard it here first, folks!
I, Elisabeth Chandler, am married to a published model. And by “published model”, I mean that a photograph of my husband was published in Capture the Moment, a beautiful book written by Sarah Wilkerson and published by Random House.
I have been featured in magazines and blogs and all kinds of cool places but this is my very first book publication and I am so thrilled to be included in a book with so many of my wonderful photography friends – some that I have watched grow for years – and, if I’m being truthful, I’m also laughing at myself a bit. I took this photograph of Andrew in our messy bedroom (our bedroom is always messy) nearly two years ago when I was still working out the kinks of my very first tilt shift lens and it was so fun to open up this wonderful book and see this silly photograph of Andrew – straight home from church and consecutively milking it (my husband is the king of dumb jokes while having his photograph taken… and all the time) and saying “Can we be done now?” at the same time.
Here’s to having photographs of your husband sitting in books all over bookstores in the US! Way to be photogenic, Andrew!
And to all of the photographers out there! You want this book! I wasn’t totally sure what to expect from this book – this photograph was selected quite a while back – and, while I knew it would be lovely, I was ridiculously impressed with the quality and beauty of this book. It is so fabulous! And even better? All of the book proceeds go to charity. I mean, could there be a better way to spend twenty bucks? I think no! Buy one here!!
