When Kristen told me that she was wearing her mother’s wedding dress, I knew that we needed to do one thing and one thing alone: Kristen totally needed a bridal session.
There’s something so sentimental about a wedding dress! When I talk to my married friends about their wedding dresses, nearly every one of them mentions that they’ve stored their dresses away so that, one day, their future daughter may decide she wants to wear the entire dress or use part of it when making her wedding dress. I think that’s such a lovely thought and, when Kristen mentioned she’d be wearing her mom’s wedding dress, I squealed a bit inside. I mean, could there be a better something borrowed? I think no!
Kristen married Wesley in Bella Vista on Saturday, March 28th on the perfect early spring day. Kristen and Wesley met through one of Kristen’s closest friends – now sister-in-law! – who was dating Wesley’s brother and, honestly, I don’t know if I have ever seen a groom more smitten with his bride than Wesley was with Kristen. These two are adorable and I am so excited to share their photographs with y’all. But! Before that happens! Here are a few of my favorite photographs from Kristen’s bridal session!
