If it’s not obvious by previous posts, I really love greenhouses.
I love the smells and the colors and the whole experience and have loved them my whole life. They are so much fun! Andrew and I are looking to buy a house in the next year and, besides a lot of windows, all I really want is a sunroom with a million different little plants. Greenhouses are like, my own little slice of heaven.
Anyway, greenhouse gush aside, last week I promised Max a cactus. So! On Saturday! We loaded the kids up in the car and spent the afternoon wandering around one of our local greenhouses (Westwood Gardens). The boys had so much fun and it was such a relaxing way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Here are some photographs!
Spoiler: Max decided that the cactus was too pokey and picked out a baby fern instead. He is the funniest!
