Lately, my love affair with photography has escalated. Don’t get me wrong- I have always been totally enamored and infatuated with photography. For lack of a less cheesy phrase, photography is my creative soulmate. I just love everything about it. And lately? I am loving capturing stolen moments of my children just being children in tiny, fleeting moments that don’t last any longer than the click of the shutter. Henry has recently become the fastest crawler in the universe and, in this photograph, he’s chasing after his brother. I am usually a color girl, but color didn’t quite evoke the emotion I wanted this photograph to evoke, so I converted it to black and white and am head over heels in love with how it turned out. I love this photograph of my baby! You can see the before and after below and, because I think they are fun to watch, I also included a video.
Oh! And since the set was just released yesterday (!!!), I wanted to make sure and say that I used Bellevue Avenue’s Filmtastic Life Lightroom Presets in my editing process on this photograph. Bellevue Avenue has AMAZING presets and, as a staunch believer in hand editing, I have to say that they have halved my editing processing time and time again. I love this new set!
