A little over a week ago, I photographed Michelle and Leah’s engagement photographs at Chotkowski Gardens and they are absolutely stunning. I had never heart of Chotkowski Gardens, but when Michelle suggested a peony farm, I said “sounds great!” because, well, a peony garden sounded pretty awesome. I just saw that they are now closed for the season, but if you’re in Fayetteville, you definitely need to check them out next spring! This garden is gorgeous!
Anyway, enough about the garden. I like talking about flowers but I like talking about love more. So! Michelle and Leah met briefly in Springfield at a poetry event. Several months later, Leah moved to Fayetteville and was shocked, surprised, and happy when she saw Michelle walking by at her new apartment complex. Long story short, these two re-met, started spending time together, fell in love, and got engaged. My favorite part of spending the afternoon with these two was hearing them talk about each other, how they met, and how Michelle was clueless when Leah took her on their very first date (stargazing!). Both of these women are super kind and funny and obviously care so much for each other and I had a wonderful time photographing them. Here are their photographs!
