Kim is an aspiring model (and photographer!) and, when I told her that I wanted to hold her shoot at a laundromat, I’m sure she thought I was a little crazy. But! She agreed and, last Saturday, we took these gems. I have wanted to hold a session in a laundromat for a long time- I did it once when I was just starting out and it was a disaster since I had too many ideas and too little camera knowledge- and I just love how these images turned out. They are exactly what I had in mind and I absolutely loved working with Kim.
Kim is a student at the University of Arkansas and she was so much fun. We ended up talking in the parking lot after we wrapped her session for nearly forty-five minutes about photography and life and about how her sister’s stomach snaps back into place three minutes after having a baby and how mine takes three months to look like there’s not a baby still in there. 😉
Here’s Kim!
