Fayetteville Family Photographer | My Baby Max

Lately, my “baby” Max screams “I’m a big boy!!” whenever I call him my baby.

Max was a fat baby with chubby cheeks and rubber band arms and too many chins to count and see-through hair and, over the last two and a half years, he has grown into a skinny little boy with hair that sticks up all over the back of his head no matter how many times I comb it down. He loves Batman and cars and books and when I taught him how to catch snowflakes on his tongue yesterday during our mini-blizzard, his eyes sparkled brighter than an early summer sunrise. Max is my sun and moon and stars and my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow to boot. I am so in love with this boy and even though he’s not a baby anymore, I am starting to fully understand all the times my mom would look at me and all of my other five siblings and say  “It doesn’t matter how old you are- you are still my baby.”

And this baby of mine? He is really lovin’ Batman now-a-days.

PS. Don’t worry! He has The Joker and Two Face and The Penguin, too!
